Please note that this is just a preview of a school assignment posted on our website by one of our clients. If you need assistance with this question too, please click on the Submit Your Instructions at the bottom of the page to get started.

FinaFor this project, you will prepare a narrated PowerPoint presentation using the screen record function in Flipgrid. The elements required for your presentation are below. Please read carefully.
To prepare for your presentation, please complete the following items:
The topic of your presentation will consist of this career exploration exercise and a job analysis. Visit the following website and take the measure to find your Holland type:
http://personality-testing.info/tests/RIASEC/
(Links to an external site.)
Take screenshots of your results including the graph and three-type code. Your three-type code consists of the three highest scores you received. You can see a screenshot of my results below. Given my scores, my three-type code is SEA. (You will also find your three-type code further down the results page where it says suitable careers.)
Read about the three Holland types that applied to you based upon your test results. You can find them here: https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/fac_development/_documents/lisa_heiser_faculty_development_handout.pdf
(Links to an external site.)

Decide which one of these best fits you (it might be hard to choose just one, but choose the overall best match for you). Click on this link that will take you to the O*Net website
(Links to an external site.)
. Please click on the Holland type that you chose to reveal a list of potential careers. For example, my results showed that I am SEA. If I had to choose one, I would choose Social. Clicking on that category brings me to a list of jobs.
Take a screenshot of the list of occupations it suggests for you.
Of the jobs on that list, click on the one that appeals most to you and take some notes to share in your presentation.
Of the jobs on the same list, click the one that appeals least to you take some notes to share in your presentation.
Now assemble your PowerPoint slides and then create your presentation in Flipgrid, please include the following information:
A brief background on the Holland RIASEC occupational type system. Is it reliable and valid? Would you recommend its use to someone looking for a career path? How does this fit in with I/O Psychology?

How was your experience taking the Holland RIASEC measure?
Share your results, your three-type code, and whether your results were surprising?
What was the job you liked most? What about it appeals to you? What was the job you liked least? Why?
For the job you chose as best, you will conduct a mini job analysis like the one you did in Module 3 Discussion (but you do not have to interview anyone).
Here are the required elements for this portion of the presentation:
An overall description of the job you chose.

An explanation of how the job is classified in the O*NET (including the occupational code and task requirements)
A description of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics that are essential to job performance.
A description of the work environment, including a description of the physical work environment, supervisory controls, physical demands, typical amount of interpersonal contact, amount of expected teamwork, job complexity, and amount of direction (supervision) typically required to get the job done.
Find an organization that offers this type of position/career. Provide a brief summary of the organizations culture based on your research of that organization.
What is the anticipated compensation for this job?
What about future demand for this job?

Finally, describe two ways in which majoring in psychology can help you prepare for this job.
Your presentation should be no less than 8 minutes but not more than 10 minutes.
Slides must be neat and visually appealing. That means that you should not have paragraphs of text on your PowerPoint slides Your paragraphs will come from your verbal presentation as you narrate your slideshow on Flipgrid.
Include the screengrabs of your RIASEC results and your three-type code, as well as any other relevant images. (Here is a link to tips for creating professional PowerPoint slides: https://edu.gcfglobal.org/en/powerpoint-tips/simple-rules-for-better-powerpoint-presentations/1/

Once you have your slides created, please access Flipgrid in our Canvas classroom, use the screen recording feature, and record your presentation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How soon can I get my paper done?
It depends with your deadline. If you need your paper completed in 3 hours, we will deliver it in that time. All you need to do is indicate your deadline in our custom order page here. Alternatively, if you are sending us your instructions via email, please be sure to indicate your deadline.
Will it be completely original? I don't want to be caught in a case of Academic Integrity Violation.

We are as paranoid as you are. Maybe even more! And we understand that the greatest sin you can commit in your academic journey is plagiarizing your academic work. To that end, we have made sure that we check and double-check our papers using high quality plagiarism detection tools such as SafeAssign and Turnitin before submitting the paper to you.

Who is my writer? Is he/she a native English Speaker?

All our writers are native English Speakers. That is not to say that ESL writers are not good, we just prefer hiring native writers because we want the very best people working on your paper. This might mean paying a little bit more for your paper as opposed to when you pay a foreign company whose writers are non-native English Speakers.

What if I need revisions? Will your charge additional for this?

Of course not! If you do happen to require a revision on your paper, our team will handle it for you free of charge. Matter of fact, we won’t rest till you are happy with your paper. So, ask for as many revisions as you need, it’s completely FREE!

Will you give me my money back if I don't like my paper?

We have very few instances where we delivered a paper that a client didn’t fall in love with. But if it so happens that you don’t like your paper for any reason whatsoever, we’ll refund your money back no questions asked.

I have more assignments after this, can you help me with those too?

Of course! And what’s even better is that we can reserve a writer permanently to work on your entire class. This comes in handy for projects which build up on each other and where you need just one writer, one writing style.

I got my order information wrong, can I change that?

Yes you can. Just reach out to our support team via email (support@essaynook.com) or live chat here and they’ll help you change the instructions.

Can I place an order via email instead of going through the order page?

Yes you can. Email Anna at anna@essaynook.com, she’s in charge of our sales team. Alternatively, you can talk to our Live Chat team here and request to speak to Anna.
